Catfish: Doing well from South River to past Baltimore, especially with cut bait. Some customers report from Sandy Point, Manapeake, and Magothy river decent sized catfish. Evening, when the tide swings happen, is the best to catch them.
Rockfish: Still closed till May.
Perch: Starting to see peak spawn, still some in the bay.
Black Drum: They are being caught at Assateague and Chincoteague using sandfleas and clam fish bites
Bass: Chasing moving baits in shallow waters.
Snakehead: In shallow, warmer water with a bait that provides contrast.
Trout stocking is still in full swing.
Shad fishing is starting up.
